The Rossville Consolidated School District is looking for an individual to fill the remaining
term, through December 31, 2024, of the Ross Township, Precinct 1 seat on the Board of
Education. Ross Township, Precinct 1 includes the Town of Rossville. Vacancies on the Board
are filled by appointment by the remaining Board members. To be qualified for the appointment
to the school board, you must have been a resident within the Rossville Consolidated School
District for one year prior to the appointment. In addition, you must be a resident of Ross
Township, Precinct 1 at the time of the appointment.


Please complete the Application for Board of Education and submit it to the Superintendent’s
Office by January 27, 2022. The Board of Education will interview potential candidates at an
open board meeting in February. The Board of Education anticipates appointing the new member
no later than February 15, 2022.

Kindergarten Roundup/Preschool Information

We will be hosting Kindergarten Roundup on March 17 or March 31 by appointment only.  Please contact the Elementary office for more information and to schedule a time.  Click here for more information!

RES will be hosting a kindergarten roundup on March 17th and 31st.  We are also in the process of gathering interest for our preschool program for 22-23. Please see the information below, and if you would be so kind to share out, we would greatly appreciate it! 

Kindergarten Roundup is around the corner. If you have a child turning 5 before or on 8/1/2022, please contact the elementary office to set up your child’s 15-minute appointment for either March 17 or March 31 (appointment only). We will be set up in the Auditorium lobby to assess students and for the parent to confirm the child’s demographic information. Due to COVID-19, we are asking only one parent and no other siblings to accompany the incoming Kindergarten student. Parents will be sent registration information during June to officially register their child. Please contact the elementary office at 379-2119 ext. 311 or 310. Thank you and please help us spread the word.

Rossville Elementary School will be offering a traditional 1/2 day Preschool program for students ages 3-5 during the 2022-2023 school year. The cost to attend will be $420 per month for five days and $250 per month for three days per week all of which is dependent on the child's age. If you are interested in child attending and put on our list of potential students, please contact the elementary office at 379-2119 ext. 311 or 310.

Respectable day for Preston at State, and a great experience for him, his family & coaches & teammates, as well as for all of us in attendance!‬

This past Saturday, Preston Padgett ran at the IHSAA State Finals for Cross Country.  He placed 104 out of 208 runners with a time of 17:06.5.  We are super proud of him and the season he had! Here are some shots from the event:
