Enrollment

Welcome to Rossville Consolidated School District! We’re excited that you’re considering joining our school community. Whether you’re enrolling a new student or transferring from another district, Rossville offers a supportive, student-focused environment where learners are encouraged to grow, succeed, and feel at home.

Our schools are proud to serve families with dedicated staff, strong academic programs, and a close-knit community that values education. We’re here to make the enrollment process as clear and smooth as possible, and our team is ready to support you every step of the way. We look forward to welcoming your family to Rossville!

  • Students new to the School must enroll with their parent(s) or legal guardian(s).  New students eighteen (18) years of age or older are not required to be accompanied by a parent when enrolling. When residing with a parent, these students are encouraged to include the parents in the enrollment process. Adult students have the responsibilities of both student and parent when enrolling in school.

  • Students should enroll in the school corporation where they legally reside, unless other arrangements have been approved. New students typically enroll with a parent or legal guardian, unless they are 18 years of age or older.

    When enrolling, families should bring:

    • A birth certificate or similar legal document

    • Custody or court documents (if applicable)

    • Proof of residency*

    • IEP or 504 paperwork (if applicable)

    • Proof of immunizations

*Students experiencing homelessness will not be denied enrollment due to missing residency documents.

In some cases, temporary enrollment may be available while required paperwork is being gathered. Families will be notified of what is needed to complete enrollment.

Students transferring from another accredited school must provide an official transcript to receive credit. If it’s not available, Student Services will help obtain it.

Students age 18 or older may enroll on their own. Adult students are responsible for completing the enrollment process themselves, though family involvement is welcome when appropriate.

Do we have to re-register our students every Summer?
Yes!  Every Summer, we require all students to review and submit a small packet of paperwork via FinalForms.  This will ensure that all your contact information is up-to-date and allow you to sign off on the required yearly forms, such as agreeing to our new student handbooks.  This process starts in early June.
